AI SEO services: what we check and fix so AI search can find you.

AI SEO services make your business easy for ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google to find, check and name when a customer asks for what you sell. ColabContent starts with the $499 AI-Ready Audit, which asks those assistants the questions your customers actually type and shows every answer word for word. The SEO and AI-visibility fixes that follow are $2,997 one time, scoped from the audit and done in 14 days. We do not promise a ranking or a place in any AI answer.

ColabContent LLC publishes this page: a Boston AI consulting firm, formed in 2020, that serves businesses anywhere in the US. Its audit reviews seven areas of the business, not only the website: sales and marketing, operations, customer experience, back office, team, data and reporting, and software.

What AI SEO services are

The same fix, under several names.

AI SEO services are the work of making a business easy to find, check and name, both in Google and when someone asks an AI assistant. Buyers search for it as generative engine optimization services (GEO), as answer engine optimization services (AEO), as LLM SEO (LLM is the large language model behind tools like ChatGPT), as SEO for ChatGPT, or as AI search optimization services. All of those phrases mean getting your business named when a customer asks an AI assistant, and from here we call it AI search.

If you are comparing an AEO agency or a generative engine optimization agency, ask one thing first: what will they check before they touch anything? Our answer is the questions your customers actually type, asked of the assistants, with the answers recorded as given. The rest of this page describes what that check covers and what we fix from it.

How AI assistants pick businesses

They name what they can find and verify.

When a customer asks an assistant who to call, it searches or retrieves public web pages and listings, reads what they say, and writes a short answer from the sources it trusts most. Our guide on why ChatGPT does not recommend a business goes through it in full. In our audits the gaps we find most often are: the business cannot be found for that question at all, its name, address, phone and services disagree across listings, or no page answers the question in plain sentences.

None of that is about paying for placement or tricking the assistant. It is about whether the raw material for a trustworthy answer exists and agrees with itself. That is why a firm with excellent work and a vague, inconsistent web presence can lose to a competitor whose information is simply cleaner.

What we check

The real questions, in each town you serve.

Nothing in the check is a template. It starts from your services and the towns you serve, turns them into the questions a customer would type, and puts those to ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity. In each town where Google shows an AI Overview (the AI-written answer above the results), we read it as well. You see each answer exactly as given, along with the competitors it named in place of you.

Next to that sits the rest of what decides whether a customer picks you: your map rankings in each town served, your reviews (count, rating, themes and quotes), your website speed and forms on a phone, and your listings. An assistant and a Google ranking read some of the same facts, so we check both together and show where they disagree.

What we fix

The gaps the audit found, and nothing it did not.

The fixes are scoped from the audit's findings and done in 14 days, so we do not publish a fixed list of tasks; it is set for each business. The findings tend to point at the gaps an assistant trips over: details that disagree across listings, pages that describe a service in marketing language instead of plain sentences, towns you serve that no page names, and reviews that never say what the customer needed.

Because you own the report either way, you can hand the fixes to your own web person instead. If you ask us to do them, the price is $2,997 one time, with no hourly billing and no per-seat fees.

Proof that Google and AI answers diverge

Good Google signals do not guarantee an AI answer.

A personal injury law firm sample on our site (sample report, names blurred) has 29 five-star Google reviews, and ChatGPT named it in none of the buyer questions asked. You can read it on its own page: the personal injury sample report (a real business, names blurred).

We asked ChatGPT with web search, "Who is the best personal injury lawyer in Boston?" on October 5, 2026 (ChatGPT with web search, read 2026-10-05). It named five firms. One of them had 3 Google reviews at 3.7 stars, and a firm with 1,082 reviews was not named. We do not show firm names.

Can I use AI to do SEO?

Yes for the drafting; no for the facts.

Yes. AI can speed up drafting, sorting and checking. What it cannot supply is the part an assistant needs most, which is true, specific facts about your business: the towns you serve, the jobs you do, how you price them. A page of generic text gives an assistant little to quote, which is the same gap we are fixing. Use AI for speed, keep the facts yours, then check the result by asking the assistants the questions your customers ask.

How much does SEO cost?

Our prices, in full.

Other firms set their own pricing; ours is published below. The audit is a single $499 payment; if you do not find it valuable you are refunded in full, and each quarter it is re-checked at no charge. The fixes are $2,997 one time, scoped from what the audit found and finished within 14 days. After that, care is an optional $997 a month, cancelable on 30 days notice.

Order matters: the audit comes first because it sets the scope. It is built from public information when you have not filled in the intake, and the report says so.

What we will not claim

No placement, no guarantees.

We will not promise a ranking, a spot on page one, or a place in any AI answer. Assistants change what they say, and no one outside them controls it. We also do not publish statistics about how many people use AI search, because we have no sourced figure to give you.

What we do promise is the work: record the real answers, find the specific gaps behind them, fix those gaps in 14 days, and show you the answers again. Where you serve a town and an assistant named a competitor there, you will see it in the report.

Start with the $499 audit.

The audit shows what ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google's AI Overview say about your business, town by town, and it scopes the fixes. If it does not feel worth it, you get the $499 back.

FAQ

What are AI SEO services?

They are the work of making a business easy for AI assistants and Google to find, check and name: correcting the details that disagree across your site and listings, stating your services and towns in plain sentences, and checking the result by asking the assistants the questions your customers actually ask.

Is this generative engine optimization or answer engine optimization?

Yes. Both mean getting your business named when someone asks an AI assistant, so it is the same job under different names. Buyers search for generative engine optimization, answer engine optimization, LLM SEO and SEO for ChatGPT. We call it AI search work, and it starts with a $499 audit that shows what the assistants say about your business today.

Will you get my business named by ChatGPT?

We cannot promise that, and nobody honest can. What we can do is show you where an assistant skips you, fix the gaps in your site, listings and reviews, and show you the answers again afterward so you see what changed.

How much do your AI SEO services cost?

The audit costs $499. Fixes scoped from its findings cost $2,997 once and take 14 days. Care is optional at $997 a month, with 30 days notice to cancel.

Do I need the audit before the $2,997 fixes?

Yes. The audit is what sets the scope for your business, because the fixes depend on what it finds in your towns, your listings and your assistant answers. If it does not feel worth it, the $499 is refunded.

Is this an AEO agency or a generative engine optimization agency?

We are a Boston AI consulting firm. The AI search work is a fixed-price package for businesses anywhere in the US, and the same firm builds custom AI systems for businesses that need more.

Do good Google reviews mean ChatGPT will recommend me?

No. We audited a personal injury firm with 29 five-star Google reviews that ChatGPT named in none of the buyer questions asked. Google rankings and AI answers do not always agree, which is why we check both.

What do I get from the audit before I decide on the fixes?

A report website, a video walkthrough and a PDF, with every AI answer shown word for word and the competitors named instead. It also covers map rankings in each town, reviews, site speed and forms on a phone, and listings.
