Each advertising channel rings its own tracking line, every call is judged from its transcript as a possible case or not, and is followed through to whether it became a signed case, so the cost of a signed case is shown for each channel. What to try (about 3 minutes)
- On Board, read the cost of a signed case for each channel over the last 28 days, and sort by it.
- Open Lines and send one of the preset calls. It arrives on that channel's tracking line and is judged from the transcript.
- Open the new call from the board's drill down and mark it as a signed case. Every figure that depends on it changes.
- Look at the calls after 6 pm for each channel, and which channel brings the most calls but the fewest cases.
- Open Summary for the weekly summary the owner would get.
What is real and what is not
Real: finding the channel from the number dialled, storing the call, every figure on the board, the hours chart, the drill down and the weekly summary, all worked out from the call rows each time, and marking a case signed.
Not real: the phone calls, the model and sending. No phone rings; the button sends the same event a phone system would. The three preset calls are judged by answers recorded from real runs of this system; no model is called here, so any other call is marked as needing a person. The summary is shown and not sent. The firm, callers and spend are invented sample data, and nothing here is legal advice.
