Engagement documents
A new client says yes. The matter is opened, the conflict check runs, the engagement letter and fee agreement are put together from the firm's own clause library, the attorney approves, and the client signs on a phone. You play the firm and the client.
What to try (about 4 minutes)
- On Intake, press Open matter for Priya Raman.
- Press Run conflict check, then Draft both documents. The panel shows the rule behind every clause.
- The amber paragraph is the only drafted text. Press Mark as reviewed. Try Edit on the retainer clause and change the amount.
- Press Approve and send for signature, then open the signing link. Type a name, draw a signature, tick the box and sign.
- Go back to the matter. It shows the signed PDF, the retainer request and the time from opened to signed.
What is real and what is not
Real: the conflict check, the rules that choose the clauses, the editing with the change marked, the signature pad and the PDF made when you sign.
Not real: the signing link is shown on screen and is not emailed or texted to anyone, and no payment system is called. The one drafted paragraph is a recorded model answer replayed for the Priya Raman matter. No model is called here. Every clause is generic sample wording and nothing here is legal advice.
Rather watch first? The 40 second recording is here.
You get your own private copy of the sample data. Other visitors never see what you type. Your copy is erased after a few hours, and Start over resets it at any time. Please do not type real client details.
