One working system
Invoice chase, working the overdue list.
I'm owed money and I hate chasing it, so I don't.
Invoice chase
Each morning every overdue invoice gets its next step, firmer messages wait for the owner's approval, and reminders pause when a customer promises a date or raises a problem.
What it does
From overdue to paid or paused, in four steps.
You set the sequence once
A polite reminder, a firmer one and a phone call by a person, each with the day it falls due and whether it needs your approval first.
Every morning, each invoice gets its next step
One run goes through the whole overdue list and reports what was sent, what is waiting for approval and which invoices now need a call.
Firmer messages wait for you
The draft carries the real facts of the invoice, checked against the accounting export, and goes nowhere until it is approved.
A promise or a problem pauses the chase
A customer who says they will pay on Friday is left alone until Friday. One who reports a problem gets no more reminders, and a person is told to call.
Ownership
You own it. All of it.
The sequence, the wording and the record of every promise are yours. Change accounting software later and the chase rules come with you.
Hire or own
What the hire costs, and what this costs
Chasing is steady, small work that is easy to put off. The system does the daily pass, and the person you already have makes the few calls it flags.
When the hire is the right call
A firm with disputed invoices, payment plans and credit decisions needs someone who can negotiate. Hire for that.

Demonstration system, sample data
Every customer, invoice and amount in the demonstration is invented, and its messages land in a sample inbox, never in anyone's real email.

Questions buyers ask
Before you ask for your version
Will it send something embarrassing to a good customer?
Only the first polite reminder goes out without you. Anything firmer waits in a queue with the draft in front of you, and you approve it, edit it or drop it.
What if the customer has already said when they will pay?
The reply is read as a promise with a date, and the sequence stops until then. It starts again the next day only if the invoice is still open.
Does it take the payment?
No. It asks, tracks the answers and tells a person when to call. Money still arrives the way it does today.
What do you need from us for a customized version?
The steps you would want and the tone you write in. The invoices and customers in it will be invented ones in the shape of yours.
Can we change the wording of the reminders?
Yes. The messages are written in your tone and stored where you can edit them, and each step has its own setting for whether it needs approval.
