Prototypes / Dispatcher

Hiring a dispatcher? See the system that does the job.

A dispatcher keeps every crew and every job in their head, and the day falls apart when an emergency lands. This board holds the whole schedule, proposes who should take the urgent job and why, and texts each customer whose time moves.

Five fields. One reply from a person.

What we doWe do the work companies are trying to hire an AI person for, as an outside team, and you own what we build.

One working system

The dispatch board, rearranging a day.

Demonstration system, sample data

My dispatcher juggles a whiteboard, three group texts and a calendar, and jobs still get double booked.

Dispatch board

Every crew and every job sit on one board, an urgent job is given to the best placed crew with the reason shown, and each customer whose time moves is told by text.

What it does

An emergency lands on a full day, in four steps.

Step 1

Every crew and every job on one board

The whiteboard, the group texts and the calendar become a single screen that shows who is where and what is next.

Step 2

An urgent job gets a suggested crew, with the reason

A burst pipe comes in and the board names the crew to send, showing the skill match and the distance behind the choice.

Step 3

You see what moves before it moves

The plan lists which job shifts to another crew and which customer gets a later window. The dispatcher accepts it or drags a job somewhere else.

Step 4

Customers and crews are told

Each affected customer gets a plain text, and the crew's phone already shows the new job.

Ownership

You own it. All of it.

Your crews, their skills and your service area are entered as rules you can read. The board and those rules sit in your accounts, so changing a software vendor does not take your scheduling logic with it.

Hire or own

What the hire costs, and what this costs

If the post exists because one dispatcher cannot keep up at the busiest times, the board carries the rearranging so one person can run more crews. The decision stays with the dispatcher, and the arithmetic does not.

When the hire is the right call

Crews phone the dispatcher about more than the schedule. If the role is also the voice that calms a customer or a technician, that part needs a person.

What you are looking at, said plainly

Demonstration system, sample data

The crews, customers and jobs on the board are sample data. Nothing on it comes from a real company's schedule.

What it costs

Three public prices. Nothing per user.

Questions buyers ask

Before you ask for your version

Does the board decide, or does my dispatcher?

The dispatcher. The board suggests a crew and shows its reasons and its score, and one drag overrides it.

What does the customer hear when their window moves?

A short text with the new window. In the demonstration it goes out when the plan is accepted.

Can it work with crews that have different skills?

Yes. Skill is part of every suggestion, alongside distance, and the reason line says which skill matched.

What would a version for our company show?

Your number of crews, your trades and the area you cover, with invented customers and a made up emergency to rearrange around.

What does the owner see at the end of the day?

A summary of the jobs finished and whether each promised window was kept. In the demonstration the figures in it come from sample data.
