Two working systems
Two ways a quote gets out the door, both running.
It takes me three days to get a quote out, and by then they've hired someone else.
Quote builder
The job is entered at the house, priced from your own price book as you go, and the quote is on the customer's phone to read and sign before you leave.
- A request for a quote is read
- Similar past jobs are found
- The job is priced from the shop's rates
- The estimator approves and the quote is ready
Quote requests sit in an inbox for a week because only one person can price them.
Quote request desk
Each request for a quote is read with every field shown beside its source, similar past jobs are found, and the job is priced from the shop's own rates for the estimator to approve.
What it does
From a request to a quote someone can sign, in four steps.
The job is priced as it is entered
Measure the room, tap what the job needs, and the quote builds from the company's own price book with its margin rules applied.
The customer reads and signs on a phone
The quote reaches the customer while the estimator is still at the house, and a finger signature accepts it.
A request is read, and past jobs are found
Each field pulled from the request sits beside the sentence it came from, next to similar jobs the shop has already run and what those cost.
A person checks the hard parts and approves
Anything that needs a human eye is flagged, such as a tight tolerance or material the shop does not stock, and the finished quote waits for the estimator's approval.
Ownership
You own it. All of it.
A price book and a set of shop rates are years of hard lessons. They stay in your own files and accounts, and the system only reads them.
Hire or own
What the hire costs, and what this costs
An estimator's judgment is worth paying for. The typing, the looking up and the reminding around it are what these systems take.
When the hire is the right call
Complex or one of a kind work needs an experienced estimator, with or without software. The systems are for getting ordinary quotes out quickly and putting the hard ones in front of that person sooner.

Demonstration system, sample data
Both run on invented price books, parts and customers, and any time shown in them is from sample data.
What it costs
Three public prices. Nothing per user.

Questions buyers ask
Before you ask for your version
Does the customer see our margin?
No. The estimator sees the profit while pricing, and the customer's copy shows only the price.
What if the request leaves something out or asks for material we do not stock?
It is flagged for a person. In the demonstration the request desk marks a tight bore and a steel the shop does not carry before any price is approved.
Who sends the quote?
A person approves every quote. In the shop the estimator signs off and a finished document is ready to send, and in the home the estimator presents it on the spot.
What happens to quotes nobody answers?
They are followed up without anyone having to remember, and the follow ups stop on their own once the customer signs.
Do we have to change how we price?
No. The systems read the price book or the shop rates you already use. Change a rate in your own file, and the next quote follows it.
