One working system
From a new enquiry to accept or decline, on one desk.
A new enquiry arrives. It has to be checked before anyone answers.
Legal intake desk
A new enquiry is read into a record, checked for conflicts against the firm's own list, scored against the firm's written criteria, and answered in the firm's own wording or held for an attorney.
Try it yourselfWhat it does
Read, check, score, reply, in four steps.
The enquiry is read into a record
A web form, a call note or an email is turned into fields, and each value shows the words it was read from. What the enquiry does not say is marked as not stated.
Names are checked against the firm's list
Both the enquirer and the other party are compared with the firm's clients and adverse parties. The result comes with its reason, including the closest name found and how far it fell below the firm's threshold.
The matter is scored on written criteria
The firm's own acceptance criteria are applied one by one, each shown as met or not with the reason. The outcome follows the firm's sending rules, checked in order.
A conflict stops the reply
When a caller names a current client, the desk builds the standard decline and holds it for an attorney. Nothing is sent until the attorney approves.
Ownership
You own it. All of it.
The criteria, the sending rules and the reply wording are the firm's own, kept as text the firm controls. A version built for your firm runs in your accounts, and the record of every enquiry and decision stays with you.
Hire or own
What the hire costs, and what this costs
If most of the role in your post is taking details, checking conflicts and sending the first reply, a desk can carry that at a fixed fee. Your intake staff then spend their time on the conversations.
When the hire is the right call
Hire the specialist for the calls: a worried person on the phone needs a person. Judgment about an unusual matter, and the relationship with a new client, are not things a desk supplies.

Demonstration system, sample data
The law office, every enquirer and every matter are invented, and nothing in the demonstration is legal advice. Reading is by rules written for the sample firm's forms, so unusual phrasing becomes a follow up question, and sending writes to an outbox inside the app.
What it costs
Three public prices. Nothing per user.

Questions buyers ask
Before you ask for your version
Does it do an intake specialist's job?
It does a core part: the record, the conflict check, the scoring and the first reply. It does not hold the telephone conversation, and an attorney still decides anything held.
Can I try it myself?
Yes. The button under the recording opens a private copy you can use in your browser with no sign up. Type your own enquiry and see how it is read.
Does it write the reply?
It assembles the reply from the firm's stored wording and fills in the details from the record. The desk writes no sentence of its own.
How strict is the conflict check?
An exact match is a conflict and a close match is a near match, and both go to an attorney. The threshold is the firm's and is shown with every result.
What would be customized for our firm?
Your practice areas, your acceptance criteria and your wording, on invented enquiries. We need no access to your client list to build it.
