One working system
The review desk, asking and answering.
We do great work and forget to ask for the review, and the bad ones sit there unanswered.
Review desk
Marking a job complete sends the review request to every customer, an unhappy reply reaches the owner the same minute, and each review gets a drafted reply for the owner to approve.
What it does
From a finished job to an answered review, in four steps.
Finishing a job sends the request
Mark the job complete and the customer is asked how it went, by text, without anyone remembering to do it.
An unhappy reply reaches the owner privately
The owner hears about a bad experience within the minute, with the facts of the job, and can send the crew back.
Nobody is filtered out
The unhappy customer still receives the review link. Asking only the happy ones breaks the review platforms' rules, so the system asks everyone.
Each review gets a drafted reply
Praise gets a thank you for the owner to approve. A poor review gets a reply that states the facts of the job and does not argue.
Ownership
You own it. All of it.
Your reviews and your replies already live on your own profiles. The system that asks and drafts runs in your accounts as well, so no part of your reputation is rented.
Hire or own
What the hire costs, and what this costs
Asking and answering are small tasks that only work when they happen every single time. That makes a thin case for a salary and a good one for a system whose replies the owner approves.
When the hire is the right call
A business facing a wave of bad press or a legal complaint needs a person, and possibly a lawyer. This is for the steady, everyday work.

The jobs, customers and reviews are invented, and no review in it was ever posted anywhere.

Questions buyers ask
Before you ask for your version
Does it only ask happy customers?
No, and it must not. Every customer is asked, including the one who just complained, because selective asking is against the rules of the review platforms.
Will it post replies on its own?
Not in this demonstration. Each reply is drafted and waits for the owner's approval.
What happens when a customer is unhappy?
The owner is alerted privately, sees the facts of the job, and can book the crew to return.
What would our version look like?
Your trade, your kind of jobs and replies written in your tone, tried out on made up customers.
Does it tell us how we are doing overall?
It keeps a running count of customers asked, reviews received and how quickly each one was answered. The counts in the demonstration are from invented jobs.
